Have you ever experienced watching the daylight break through a thicket whilst listening to the sounds of the woodland, on the hunt for your quarry? Feeling the rush of adrenaline as you look through your scope and line up your shot. Several hours of searching, tracking, stalking has led you to this moment. You have a mixture of emotions running through you... exhilarated, nervous, a strange sense of calm. You exhale and squeeze the trigger.
This is why I love stalking. It is a humbling experience sourcing your own food, taking full responsibility for that shot and that animal. Anyone who has been stalking will understand and anyone who hasn't... well why not let us show you?

Introduction to stalking
Set on the most beautiful estate nestled in the picturesque Cotswold countryside, this 2 day course will guide you from briefing, to stalking, to the final shot.
On the first day you will arrive at The Bell, a picture-perfect country pub based in Langford, and meet the Head Keeper and your guide. They will take you onto the estate for an afternoon briefing to learn exactly what to expect from your stalk and give you the opportunity to get to know your rifle. The day will end with dinner and drinks back at The Bell, before retiring to your room for a good nights sleep.
The second day will start with a morning stalk, searching for your quarry which will include roe, fallow and muntjac. All equipment will be provided for you and your guide will be with you every step of the way to make sure you have the most enjoyable and successful experience possible. It may be decided by the estate that an afternoon stalk would be more appropriate based on weather conditions.
After the excitement of the stalk you can then return to The Bell for a well-earned evening meal and a night to rest and relax before departing the following morning.
The cost for this course is £650 + VAT. This is inclusive of 2 nights bed and breakfast at The Bell, all equipment and gun hire, your afternoon briefing and morning stalk.
If you have any questions or would like more information please don't hesitate to get in touch.
