Summer Holiday Shooting
With the summer holidays well underway, perhaps you’re looking for something different to entertain the children? Have you considered having a go at clay pigeon shooting?
Here at The Oxfordshire Shooting School we are proud to promote clay shooting and outdoor activities to the next generation. As a sport it certainly doesn’t get enough recognition for the positive part it can play in a child’s development. Clay shooting offers youngsters the opportunity to learn responsibilities, practice their concentration, boost their confidence, meet new friends and get a decent dose of fresh air, all in a perfectly safe and controlled environment.
We are very excited to be hosting a Young Shots Activity Day on Tuesday 27th August, in partnership with BASC. This event will include activities such as clay pigeon shooting, air rifle shooting and gun dog training. The cost is £35 and the day will run from 10am to 2.30pm. Parents are welcome to stay and watch or they can drop their children with us and come back to collect them later.
This activity day is suitable for all ages (under 18s) and all abilities. Whether your child is completely new to shooting or is very experienced, we can tailor the session and tuition to suit their individual needs. All equipment will be provided and our team of experienced, friendly instructors will be on hand all day to offer guidance and support.

If your Young Shot would prefer a one to one lesson, please don’t hesitate to get in touch on the details below. We offer ‘Have A Go’ introductory sessions (for adults and children), junior tuition, courses of lessons and junior membership.
